Ahem, hey there entrepreneur – I have a question for you. Have you ever considered what your business feels from your clients perspective? Are you being intentional about every step that they walk through, and are you going out of your way to make their experience tangible even if you run your business solely online?
If any of these questions rubbed you a little, stick around for this episode.
Canadian-born creative director Xanthe Appleyard is the co-founder of Oh Sierra, a creative agency based between Los Angeles and Tulum, Mexico. How cool is that?!
In 2020, Xanthe and her partner in life and business, Frank, packed their bags and moved to Tulum — a bold leap to expand their global perspective. Just months later they introduced their beautiful, and thoughtfully curated rental property, The Oh Sierra Swim Club.
Xanthe’s philosophy on life influences her approach to branding: we aren’t drawn to people because of what they do, but rather who they are. As a designer, mentor, and speaker, she generously shares why communication is equally important to brand-building as visuals, what it takes to build a connected community, and how to execute on a long-term vision.
But let’s cut to the chase, you didn’t click on this episode to hear me do all the talking – nor do I want you to miss out on all the goodness Xanthe brought to today’s episode. Let’s dive in.
